Please be aware that we have been alerted to scam callers who are falsely claiming to be contacting patients on behalf of Cardinal Medical Practice.
We advise you to be particularly vigilant when receiving calls from withheld or unknown numbers. Please do not share any personal or confidential information unless you are certain of the caller’s identity. If you are unsure, you may end the call and contact the practice directly using our published telephone number.
This matter has been reported to the ICB and is currently under investigation.
We have also been informed that “NHS Wellbeing” cards which had been on display within the practice are not legitimate and may be an attempt by hackers to access mobile phones. If you have collected an NHS Wellbeing card from any of our reception areas, please dispose of it immediately and do not scan any associated QR codes.
