With effect from 1st August 2021 we will no longer be accepting repeat prescription requests via email.
You will only be able to order your repeat prescriptions in the following ways:
1. Via On-Line Services. You will need a user ID and password to request medication this way. If you are not already signed up for On-Line Services you will need to come to the surgery along with photo ID
2. Via the NHS App. As well as allowing you to request repeat medication you are also able to view hospital and GP appointments, your Covid vaccination status etc.
3. Ask your nominated pharmacy to request repeat prescriptions on your behalf.
4. Fill out a repeat prescription request slip in the Reception or bring in a written request and put it in one of the two Prescription Request boxes. These are located either inside the Reception area or outside the surgery. Both boxes are emptied at 8.0am Monday to Friday.
N.B. We do not take prescription requests by telephone
Should you have queries or would like further information, please contact the surgery.
If you require regular medication your doctor will issue you with a repeat prescription computer slip. You can request repeat medication by dropping the slip into the surgery or sending it in by post with a stamped addressed envelope if you are unable to collect the prescription yourself. You can also request repeat medication online or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Please allow 72 working hours (3 working days) for prescriptions to be processed by the surgery before collection. If your prescription is sent to a pharmacy please allow an additional 24 hours before collection.
